Student members are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization.
Their responsibilities are vital to the organization and can include any of the following:
Operating the Ambulance | Responding to 911 Service Calls and Providing High Quality Patient Care | Conducting Daily Inspections of the Vehicles, Equipment and Supplies | Coordinating Continuing Education for the Members

Adult Advisors provide guidance and oversight to the student members. Adults staff the first responding ambulance during school hours and serve as a shift supervisor, a position staffed 24 hours a day. Adult Advisors also play a role in managing the Post through mentoring and guidance of young adults in any of the following ways:

The board consists of Darien residents, the Director of Post 53, and adult advisors.
