MEMORIAL DAY FOOD FAIR TO GO

___

On behalf of all the young adults and adult advisors of Darien EMS-Post 53, we would like to thank Palmer’s Market for their help and support of our Memorial Day Food Fair grill package.  Over 100 Darien Families purchased a to-go package, each one was hand packed by the incredible staff at Palmer’s.  Megan Palmer Rivera and the entire staff were a joy to work with and we appreciate their generosity.

We would also like to thank Darien Soccer, Darien Lacrosse, Heights Pizza, Papa Joe’s, Tengda Asian Bistro, Darien Sports Shop, Nielsen’s Florist, Grieb’s Pharmacy, Parlor Pizza, Palmer’s Market, Upper Crust Bakery and Cafe (UCBC) and Ring’s End Lumber for allowing us to market our Food Fair to go packages outside their businesses.  Thank you to Ten Twenty Post for donating a cocktail party for a lucky donor!  We would also like to thank everyone who donated at our many locations and online via our website.  Your generosity helped make this Food Fair fundraiser a huge success!  While we missed not hosting our annual Memorial Day Food Fair and celebrating with our community after the Memorial Day parade, we enjoyed seeing many of you out in the community over the past several weeks.  We also appreciate all the words of thanks expressed during our march in the Memorial Day parade.

Thank you to the Town of Darien for the use of Tilley Pond Park for our ambulance tours, Hands Only CPR, stroke awareness, and Stop the bleed training after the parade.

We are so blessed and thankful to be a part of this community.  Thank you again for supporting Post 53.  We look forward to continuing to serve our community with the best possible care in the years to come.
